Summary: This is a well-made product—very solid. And the sound is great. What a steal for $30. I also had to get a USB BT adapter (Cirago BTA 6210) because the built-in BT transceiver on my Gateway laptop detected the speaker as a hands-free device, not a speaker/stereo headset.
Pros: Well-made, solid construction. Nice design. Good sound. Portable design.
Cons: None. I can't complain. For $30, this is a steal.
Pros: Pair with Bluetooth phone was easy. Works fine as a hands-free device in the car for cell phone conversations.
Cons: LED's are very small and difficult to read/interpret while driving, e.g is the unit turned on? The function of the 'hold' button is not explained in the instructions, but I don't need it or use it.
Summary: Purchased two of these, one for the car and one for the office and it works great for both. Definately the best hands free that I've used.
Pros: VERY simple to pair, code is in the instructions. Voice Clarity is awesome, speakers are nice and loud and noise cancellation is superb. People on the other end are not aware they are on speaker or hands free. One touch redail keeps me fram having to even grab my phone.
Cons: It should come with a D/C charger along with the A/C charger, but LG sems to be not too adept to packing a diversity of adapters.
Summary: Got this to replace the weak and poorly placed speakers on my netbook, and for a computer that lacks a sound card (I know...). I haven't used it as a mic with the cell phone, only as speakers, so not sure of sound quality and how well it does with noise cancellation.
Pros: Easily paired with various cells and computers, good sound, has a multifunction mute. a flip out stand on the back makes using it as replacement speakers for my netbook work well.
Cons: Once you are more than 5 feet away fro the other device, you have poor bluetooth connectivity. For something like this I was hoping for closer to the limit of class 2 devices, but once more than 5 feet away get very inconsistent results (I can go 100 feet through 3 walls with my Motorola ear piec...
Pros: Easy to pair, excellent voice clarity and it supports both bluetooth audio stream and voice from phone. Comes with all accessories to install in car and it also comes with a stand built in. The voice doesn't sound like its from small speakers.
Cons: The charger provided is a wall charger and this bluetooth device is for car!. No car charger provided.
Summary: Really a great unit for the price. The only time I really need to use bluetooth is in the car, and this allows me to avoid putting on an earpiece (and looking like the Borg). One of the features I mentioned above is that the unit will automatically call the last dialed number with a press of the on...
Pros: Ease of Use, easy setup, call volume and quality, useful additional features, ability to stream music, I use it around the house too so I don't have to hold my cell phone up to my ear.
Cons: Proprietary charging cable, plus no car charger
Summary: If you want to use this just as an external speaker than I guess it's ok, but if you're using it as a 'speakerphone'.. Just go get an earpiece instead.
Pros: It hooked up to my phone really quick..
Cons: For some reason, when I turned it on the first time, it called the last person I had dialed on my phone.. Wierd. I had purchased it to use in the car so I could call into meetings and have better sound. It has worse sound than my phone's internal speaker, and it picks up way too much sound on the...
Summary: Wish the power connection was the same as my cell phone. Use it in car, use at home...good and handy. Can skip/rewind a song with the buttons on it. Battery life? Not sure.....
Pros: Seems loud enough. Sounds ok for a portable speaker. I can even play the music off of my phone on it. I mostly use it at my desk. Don't have to pick up my cell phone to talk. Which is really kinda handy.
Cons: The clip for use in the car bulky, and stands off the unit a bit far. I can't charge it in the car, has a funny power adapter connection....not the same one on my current Lg Env2 phone.
