Great for the money

Joshua B., Newegg
28 July 2010
  • Pros: Works great, sound comes out clear and people can hear you well.
  • Cons: Instructions wrong when pairing to phone. Instead of pushing the call/end button after the phone turns on. Just hold the call/end button when the jabra is off until the blue light flashes rapidly

Great Product

Stephen K., Newegg
26 July 2010
  • Pros: Great Product. My brother has been using this for a while and always being on the other end I could hear him clearly with no other noise. Tried it for myself and the product gives off greatly clarity over the speaker.
  • Cons: The instructions do not inform you how to do a manual pair/sync with your phone. They only tell you how to do an automatic pairing which would not work for my phone. Their website however told me to hold the button for 7 seconds and hold it for a manual pairing. That was the only hiccup.

User Review

Mike P., Newegg
10 July 2009
  • Summary: I have purchased a second one for a spare.
  • Pros: This works great at a car kit. Awesome clarity. Easy to use. It is so easy to move from car to car.
  • Cons: I had problems pairing it to my phone. It goes automotically trying to pair but my LG would not locate it without pairing it the Jabra manual mode.

  • Pros: Very clear. Loud enough.
  • Cons: THe directions to pair are incorrect. What you need to do is while it is off press and hold the middle button, it will turn on but dont let go continue holding for a few more seconds. It will beep again and now its ready to pair.

Jabra sp5050 speakerphone

Gerald O., Newegg
1 August 2008
  • Pros: I originally purchased this speaker phone in March 2008. It is a great product. Volume works well both on in town and freeway driving. Recipients of my calls have all felt the sound quality was fine. It is helpful to (separately) purchase an AC/DC adapter ($5-$10) so you can also charge this unit...
  • Cons: Lack of an AC/DC adapter.

Great little unit

Anonymous, Newegg
1 July 2008
  • Pros: Very easy to use; connects every time and has excellent quality. Hard to tell if the noise rejection works well, but callers don't complain about background noise so I assume all works well. Sound quality is fine.
  • Cons: It would be better if they had used a micro-USB port for charging, as most cell phones do today. They have a proprietary plug so one needs to use their special charger.

  • Summary: Easy set-up. Easy to use. The only thing that would make it better is an AC/DC charger so you can charge it at home.

Thumbs up to the Jabra SP5050 BT Speakerphone

J. Shofner, Amazon
7 February 2008
  • Summary: I bought the Jabra SP5050 BT Speakerphone because of the impending driving laws in California, and I dont want to always be driving with an earphone on. Once I got it programmed to my phone, it worked great, both in the car, and around the house. Easy volume controls.
