Summary: The Jabra Speakerphone did not perform up to expectations. The volume could not be turned up loud enough to hear over road noise. The speaker also did not produce a clear sound. So combine those two problems and you cannot understand what is being said on the phone.
Summary: I got this to comply with CA law. It worked ok, but I am on the market for something better. There are 2 main problems 1) In some cases where the road is noisy, I cannot hear the speakerphone even at full volumes. I drive a relatively quite 3-series BMW.
Summary: It works, and it's cheap. That's the good news... however the bad news is that the volume is pretty low when maxed (unless you sit right under your visor you'll be leaning forward to hear), there is no AC adapter, so charging can be a hassle unless you buy an additional AC to Cigarette Lighter...
Summary: I'm disappointed with my unit for two primary reasons: (1) The indicator lights are not visible during the daytime. I can't tell whether the unit is on or off ... (2) Voice dialing; it doesn't understand me and I don't understand it. I'm going to have to look for something else.
Summary: The leds are very dim, so it is hard to tell when you get a call. I have to keep my phone in my pocket to know when someone is calling. When you push to answer, there is little delay before you can start talking. I've gone back to using a Moto earbud.
Summary: I tried this item, and while people could hear me just fine, the speaker on it is so weak that I had to turn my car off just to hear the other party. going to try the motorola k505 since it can use the car speakers.
Summary: Living in California with the new handsfree law in effect as of 7/1 I had to get something I hated the idea of an earpiece so found this at a local store. It sounds fine, loud and clear on a city street. Get on the freeway and people can hear you but you can no longer hear them, very frustrating.
Summary: Don't know if anyone else has this problem, but sometimes when I first turn it on, it takes two or three phone calls out for me to hear that the phone is ringing and if anyone answers it (my cellphone says "connected" but I hear nothing coming out of the speaker).
Summary: I thought that I had found the perfect product. It looked great, felt great and fit great but... It is way to quiet for actual use. Perhaps my unit is defective but the volume level on the speaker is extremely low. Low to the point of making this unit unusable.
Summary: Based on the glowing reviews I read on the product I was really expecting a useful solution to the California ban on cellphone use unless hands free. My two problems were... 1. Even with the volume controls at maximum on both my cellphone and the Jabra, the volume coming out of the unit's tiny...
