Nice performing bluetooth speaker

Jakes, Mwave.com
13 September 2012
  • Summary: While I am not a heavy user of cell phones, this is a great performing bluetooth speaker. The sound volume is more than adequate for in-car use. People tell me I come in clear. The controls (while I find myself looking up how to use them periodically) are simple and heavy users should catch on quickly. Ive only had to charge it the one time, prior to my first use, and I havent tried the solar function yet. It holds the charge very well (over 1 month now..
  • Pros: Good sound/clarity. Decent battery life. Good visor and windshield cradle.
  • Cons: None Ive come across in a little over 1 month of use. Would be nice if it had a display showing the incoming call, but not really a weakness.

  • Summary: TOTALLY impressed with this product. I bought one for myself first, and was very satisfied with it. I bought many more 6 more for my family and close friends. Voice quality is clear, easy to use one button primarily, and a +/- for sound if you want to. You get all th needed clips to mount it on windshield or visor, plus the charging cable. Can be charged at home, and it trickle charges itself in sunlight.
  • Pros: good volume, clear sound, clear conversation on both sides, keeps charge for many many days, works with 2 phones switching automatically.
  • Cons: NONE.

IOGEAR Handsfree

RS, Mwave.com
22 July 2010
  • Summary: I purchased this to replace a Jabra bluetooth handsfree speaker that was being redeployed to another vehicle. This IOGear unit is smaller than the Jabra but the interface is very similar. One difference is that the Jabra will announce the phone # of the incoming call. This unit does not have that feature. Also the sound quality on the Jabra is a little clearer and louder.
  • Pros: Battery free charging, Easy setup, put anywhere in car
  • Cons: Low volume, no carrying case

Does the job - love the solar power

GrumpyOne, Amazon
9 November 2013
  • Summary: My phone never seems to ring until I'm in the car and with increased legislation, I needed a bluetooth solution. I've had this months now and never needed to charge it as the solar power is sufficient to keep it going. I can hear the other party just fine, there has been some complaints that I sound a little quiet (otherwise it would be a five star rating).

It's okay. Too much static most of the time

LUCY BARRIS, Amazon
3 March 2013
  • Summary: This is easy to set up and use and charger cord works well but usually don't need it as solar panel works well however it has so much static and breaks up during conversations that it is difficult to have conversations on.

Works Great

Ken Rodman, Amazon
10 January 2013
  • Summary: I've had this solar blue tooth hands free car kit for a couple years now it it works great. Once it is paired with your phone you simply hit the button and wait for a beep. You get a message on your phone and the connection is solid. I was concerned that in Nova Scotia we might not get enough sun in the winter but it works perfectly. Initially I charged it up on my PC but after that no worries.

Works great

Jmac, Amazon
28 July 2012
  • Summary: Easy to setup and use. I've been using it for two months now and not had to charge it at all after initially charging by connecting it to my computer as per the instructions after unboxing. I've found it hard to find a good hands free system with respect to overall conversation clarity and quality. With this unit people don't even realize they are on speaker phone or just as importantly I am speaking hands-free.
