Nice performing bluetooth speaker

Jakes, Mwave.com
13 September 2012
  • Summary: While I am not a heavy user of cell phones, this is a great performing bluetooth speaker. The sound volume is more than adequate for in-car use. People tell me I come in clear. The controls (while I find myself looking up how to use them periodically) are simple and heavy users should catch on quickly. Ive only had to charge it the one time, prior to my first use, and I havent tried the solar function yet. It holds the charge very well (over 1 month now..
  • Pros: Good sound/clarity. Decent battery life. Good visor and windshield cradle.
  • Cons: None Ive come across in a little over 1 month of use. Would be nice if it had a display showing the incoming call, but not really a weakness.

A Must have for all persons with a cellphone and a car.

magicgem, Mwave.com
24 December 2010
  • Summary: TOTALLY impressed with this product. I bought one for myself first, and was very satisfied with it. I bought many more 6 more for my family and close friends. Voice quality is clear, easy to use one button primarily, and a +/- for sound if you want to. You get all th needed clips to mount it on windshield or visor, plus the charging cable. Can be charged at home, and it trickle charges itself in sunlight.
  • Pros: good volume, clear sound, clear conversation on both sides, keeps charge for many many days, works with 2 phones switching automatically.
  • Cons: NONE.

IOGEAR Handsfree

RS, Mwave.com
22 July 2010
  • Summary: I purchased this to replace a Jabra bluetooth handsfree speaker that was being redeployed to another vehicle. This IOGear unit is smaller than the Jabra but the interface is very similar. One difference is that the Jabra will announce the phone # of the incoming call. This unit does not have that feature. Also the sound quality on the Jabra is a little clearer and louder.
  • Pros: Battery free charging, Easy setup, put anywhere in car
  • Cons: Low volume, no carrying case

Just spend an extra 10 dollars or so on a better quality product

Grant Rivard, Amazon
  • Summary: This item worked for one call. It died right after and won't charge in the sun or plugged in. it does not light up or respond. I bought it for less than 30$ and do not want to even bother contacting the company. Just spend an extra 10 dollars or so on a better quality product. It is not worth the time or the money. I could have had a lemon, for your sake I hope you don't.

Nice little unit, but microphone is so-so

Angelo Babudro, Amazon
13 August 2014
  • Summary: Neat little package with lots of features, although the microphone quality is not-so-hot. I often have to ask for things to be repeated because the voice is fuzzy, although my wife (who is using the device in the car) seems to have no trouble understanding me from its speaker.

Good Product, Would Recommend it.

Dylan, Amazon
1 August 2014
  • Summary: I bought this for my Dad to use because here like many parts of Canada and the US, it is now illegal to use your cell phone without a handsfree device of some sort while driving. Here the ticket is $300 + 2 demerit points now, so it is worth it. As I said I bought this for my dad, the reason I mention that is, my dad is not the greatest when it comes to technology.
