Yamaha CD-S1000 is a Super Audio CD player. It enables to play SACD, CD, CD-R and CD-RW in CD, MP3 and WMA formats. Its main features include differential D/A converters, high precision CD drive, fully balanced CD drive, fully balanced control amp, four-part power supply with independent structure, pure direct circuitry and specially designed feet. It is designed in black and wood housing finish.

Features

The CD-S1000 supports Super Audio CD that uses technology called Direct Stream Digital (DSD) to convert music into a digital signal that can be stored on a disc resulting higher resolution by following more closely the original waveform of music. Besides that, it supports CD-R and CD-RW playback allowing user to play their own CD burned from computer or digital recorder. Moreover, it is equipped with differential D/A converter. It also features four-part power supply with independent structure. It has a frequency response ranges from 2 Hz to 20 kHz for CD and 2 Hz to 50 kHz for Super Audio CD. Moreover, it has 0.002% of harmonic distortion at 1 kHz. It also has 113 dB signal-to-noise ratio with dynamic range of 100 dB for CD and 105 dB for Super Audio CD. It measures 435 x 137 x 440 mm in dimension and weighs 15 kg.
