Summary: This CD Recorder has done more than was advertised. It has exceeded my expectations, and the copies are as good as the originals. Be sure to follow the instructions. The first 2 or 3 copies may not work out as expected, but once you learn how to do it you will be delighted with the results.

Summary: I bought this to record the preaching at my church on cd and I'm amazed at how good it works and so easy to use, Works so good with the Audio2000 dual channel wireless mics that I purchased with this. my cds come out crystal clear, now I'm making cds for everyone!
Summary: I used to love spending a Friday night recording CDs on my Sony dual disc recorder. It was easy & made great CDs! Then it wore out after 10 yrs of heavy usage.... Sony doesn't make them anymore. So I had to search the net for a replacement & settled on the Teac because of price. It's not dual disc.

Summary: I bought this product in May 2014 and used it 3 times before stop working. Since day one quality was not good: extremely slow with bad mechanical interface. On the 4th time I tried to record and got an error information.
Summary: TEAC has a great reputation for quality and reliability. So we ordered a NEW RW890, it arrived as promised. We opened the carton and upon examining the contents we noticed that some of the parts were not packed properly. ??? We then set up the TEAC and proceeded to record some CD's.
Summary: This was the second one of this model I had bought. I should have kwon better. The first was trash a little over in a year. The whole main board went out on, was not worth repairing. This one when I went to erase a single track it went into erase the whole disk and locked up for over 24 min.
Summary: This cd recorder is a great machine. It exceeded my expectations. I really like the ease of operation and the clear instructions for it's use. I have used it several times now and I am pleased with the results. There's no guesswork with the TEAC CD-RW890.
Summary: It works very well and is easy to use. the only thing i don't like is every time you pause or stop a recording, you must re-set the recording levels. also it doesnt remember what input was being used the last time it WAS used. it always defers to the digital input.
Summary: I'm sending it back.I had a Phillips Recorder that was a much better quality, after recording. If you adjust the voume while recording,it just blares out,on playback..Only takes certain name brand CD's.I wasted about a half dozen blanks,Maxcell,Verbatim, even the Sony.
Summary: Great price on a simple CD Recorder. Now I can concentrate on putting my vinyl, reel-to-reel, and cassette music on the latest way to enjoy my old music collection! Have owned a few different Teac products over the years, and they've never let me down.
