  • Summary: I just purchaced one of these yesterday as a piece to hold me off for a while while I save for some higher quality equipment. I know how to treat equipment right so only time will tell if this was a good purchace. If you're looking for high quality equipment, Stanton is not what you want. I know this & bought it cause its inexpensive & plays MP3's. If you want quality go with Pioneer or Denon.

Does the job well!

Damien Margo, Amazon
8 September 2005
  • Summary: Based on its ability to do what it claims, I give this unit five stars. This is a dual CD player for DJ use that also accepts data CD's filled with MP3 files. With proper planning you can fill up 2 CD's with MP3's, place one in each deck, and play an entire set, possibly 2 or 3 (reminder: use high quality MP3 files!) A single CD containing MP3 files can hold hours worth of files--even using higher quality MP3s in 192-320 range, or Variable Bit Rate.
