Summary: i was perusing the SACD market place, and was surprised in a good way to see this unit still around. i checked the model number on mine, the same. front appears identical too. but mine is 6 or 7 years old. never misses, and it runs often 12 plus hours a day.
Summary: I had a Sony CD changer before this one, and it lasted about 15 years before it started acting up. I loved that machine! A CD changer is very handy for me, since I do a lot of music reviews, so I figured I'd stick with Sony.
Summary: I have owned this Sony SCD-CE595 CD player for more than 7 years. I bought it because I need a CD player can play SACD disc. But majority I still used it for playing CD, CD-R and CD-RW. It has the ability to play all of them. I was not impressed with the sound quality at the beginning.
Summary: I bought this CD Changer because my 22 year old model finally played out. I use it teaching music everyday. It is a great unit and the seller had great service. I recommend him to everyone needing electronics!
Summary: we havent used it that much yet but it seems very advanced and it certainly has many options for playing and programing I would think you couldnt find much better for a mutiple cd player we expect to have lots of good use out of it .
Summary: Love my new (used) Sony SCD-CE595. If you read on-line reviews about this baby, you'll discover that it goes head to head with much, much higher-end audiophile SACD players and holds its own nicely. The secret? The DACs - digital to audio converters. That's what it's really all about.
Summary: I bought this unit about two years ago, so it's out of its 1-year warranty now. Nice looking unit, with a lot of features, and pretty good sound, although I only used it in very limited ways: I'd load it up, turn it on just before going to bed, and let it run half the night.
Summary: I have had two of these units sent to me and neither worked as advertised. There is a problem with SACD decoding that resulted in the center and sub-woofer channels not receiving a strong enough signal to perceive.
