Summary: I have had two of these and both show fail/error messages for CD's that I have burned and "new" CD's. The CD's that do not work play on other CD players. This has been a very unfortunate purchas. After describing my problem to the folks at Sony they sent me another one that had the same problem.

Summary: I bought the Sony SCD-CE 595 from J&R Music and Computer World on Amazon.Com. The price was very attractive. So we were pleasantly surprised to note, when we received it, that it's a Bravia with the Bravia sound and performance we've come to value.
