Summary: I feel I got a great deal at $150 for my rcd-w100 cd recorder. This thing is awesome. Makes perfect recordings of my albums and CDs to listen to on my stereo at work. Before I got it, half of my CDs were locked up at work when I wanted them at home! Very simple to make copies, but can get a little complicated in using it to it's full capabilities. I tend to stick to the basics and it's a breeze!
Excerpt: This is a great little CD player that I brought about a year ago. It is not overly expensive and provides great value for money. The quality of the sound is very good and remains good no matter how high it is turned up. It is very reliable and has yet to go wrong. The controls are very straightforward and easy to use and there are 2 separate slots for the CD'S. It has a good appearance and looks quite stylish.
Excerpt: Having used this machine for over 1 year without complaints, let me tell you about a feature which to my mind is worth all of £200 and that is the ability of this impeccable cd recorder to Super Bit Map the recording. Using an external source preferably cd this machine is able to produce a Digital Remaster of the original. They sound incredible to the point of transforming some discs ,making these your most listened to and your reference disc.
Excerpt: This is a good twin deck CD Recorder. You can record at up to 4 times normal speed to make copies of CDs. Sound quality is good - and it sounds best when connected to an amplifier using the digital optical output. It will record on CDR or RW discs - but these have to be the music or audio ones - NOT the type you normally use to save data on your PC. These are readily available on the high street or online stores.
Excerpt: I am writing a review of a Sony recordable CD deck to warn potential buyers that I have found it to be badly-specified and -worst of all- unreliable. Although my deck has been used only very occasionally, it has begun to malfunction and refuses to do what it says on the box, namely, to record. I tried to contact Sony UK on this matter, but that was a futile exercise whereby you are put on hold for 15 mins and then answered by an Asian call-centre.
Excerpt: I use this machine for recording sermons at our church and for playing background music through a professional PA system. The only gripes I have is the less than intuitive operation - I have tried to show colleagues how to use it, finalise discs, set levels etc and its not easy! The operation of the recording side of it is not as easy as our old fashioned cassette deck!
Excerpt: Purchased this product recently via amazon I had read the previous reviews before buying, and for the money this is a great machine. Copy cds very fast, and no drop outs. I have been using this machine daily, and I am very pleased with its performance considering the price. Inputs Audio and Digital, plus fully programable.
