Summary: If you are like me and hate having to carry around a large case of cds in your car you would be wise to invest in this radio or one similar. it plays and charges your mp3 player and it will also read a sd card or usb flash drive. I have a 16 gig sd card with all of my music on it and never have to carry my cds with me. it is easy to install once you figure out your car's wiring and invest in a dash adapter kit.
Summary: Put out good quality sound just about the same as a factory unit. But then you plug in a flash drive or aux and for some reason the quality goes down a couple notches. Had it for about a year and half before power inverter in the unit gave way wouldn't buy another one.
Summary: actually not a bad car radio for 30 bucks. no cd player is kind of dumb but I do not personally own a cd so no problem. usb works great, displays song and folder name. not enough controls but good enough. oh yeah radio tuner sucks balls, but who listens to the radio anyway.
A USB/SD device reader with a stereo amp...good deal...
3 February 2012
Summary: I was pleased to see that there was finally a device that would act as a simple control head for playing music from storage card media and USB media only. Even though the description says CD, this device does NOT have a CD player, it does gave an audio input for your portable CD player. No CD player mechanism to fail or cds falling on the floor etc. This device is a card/usb controller with a stereo amp that reproduces MP3 files for your car.
