The CD player is aimed to bring professional-grade listening experience into the home or office, and is fine-tuned and certified by AIR Studio’s sound engineers for optimized accurate recreation of the original recording possible. This is achieved via internal components that deliver signals to create a two-channel hi-fi experience. It also features a power supply circuitry that is responsive to demanding musical content and is designed for optimized heat resistance for a warm, analog-like sound.

The Pioneer Elite G-Clef PD-D6MK2 which retails for $700 feature Burr-Brown D/A converters and comes with Legato Link Conversion PRO technology which utilizes complex algorithms to recreate the ultra-high harmonics lost in the digital conversion process. It also features Hi-Bit technology which increases the sound data length from 16-bit to 24-bit to provide clear, rich audio, even from compressed MP3 files. The unit is finished in glossy black with blue LCD displays and features a Honeycomb Chassis design, which contains hexagon shaped imprints in the metal plates that help to dissipate vibrations and alleviate jitter. It also has additional weight and stability features help to shield optical components from ambient interference that could cause imprecise sound, and an aluminum front panel.
