Excerpt: Great buy for a low budget but decent-sounding system. Replaced an ancient but highly-regarded audiophile player in my office with this CD player and was really surprised by the dramatic audible improvements. Open, transparent, lots of musical detail.
Pros: Attractive Design, Doesn't Skip, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound
Summary: I've had my eyes on this cd player for a couple of years now. I would check the reviews every couple of weeks to see what people were saying. Well, I finally purchased one and I am glad that I did. I have this hooked up to a 1976 Harman Kardon 430 receiver, and a pair of Klipsch rb-61's.
Summary: Having to replace my Yamaha cd player was a hard choice. After much research on line, I found the Onkyo C7030.The Yamaha had an "in your face" sound I kind of like. The Onkyo was very different. It creates much more separation which I didn't hear before.

Summary: Beyond my expectations. I am so pleased. I get quality sound at a fraction of what I could have paid. Running this through two channel Sony receiver (old but great) and my Definitive Technology speakers and sub. I did purchase high quality connection cables and so glad I did.
Summary: This CD player is one of the few affordable stand alone CD players on the market these days. Furthermore, it seems to be the only affordable, dedicated single disc player out there. That said, there is nothing cheap feeling about this player.
