Summary: I am very happy with this seller with the exception that neither the owner's manual nor the compu link-3 sync cord were included, if I hadn't had a previous CD component, I would have had a hard time finding this cord that is needed to sync the CD component to the receiver. The remote had some corrosion from the batteries that were left in, but I was able to clean that out and get it working. BUT the machine works immaculately and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Look it over good and if it looks like it has been taken care of lovingly ,

Summary: I love it. It is actually a back up to one I already own. If you can find one in good shape , GRAB IT!! JVC used a totally new concept in the D/A converter and made a home run. There are older models with same converter. They are killer also.
Summary: I'm over 60 and still have a pretty large CD collection, so needed something to use with my new component set. This JVC does the trick nicely. And, since it's almost impossible to find a CD changer anymore, this Ebay purchase (slightly used) was perfect.
Summary: Great cd carousel player. Great sound very functional controls and remote. Case is a little bigger than some, makes it seem like their is more for the money. I really like the unit and it goes very good with my JVC reciever amp.
Summary: This JVC CD Player boasts some very nice, high quality features. First, it can hold five CDs in its carousel and it's so easy to select each disc to play, either from the player or from its very well planned out remote control. Also, it has direct track access, which can also be very helpful. I have paired this CD Player with a Kenwood receiver and Kenwood Audio speakers and the sound is excellent.
Summary: I have owned several JVC products over the years. The first was a portable radio many years ago. I have in the past had excellent experiences with their products. This model, however, is very inferior. Within 2 months after my purchase the unit failed to place a CD properly into its tray and as the unit revolved the CD came completely out and jammed under a neoprene or plastic disc inside the machine and jammed the mechanism so that the tray would not open and scratching...
Summary: I REALLY like it, except I didn't know it needed a speaker system! (I am not very bright when it comes to electronics.) I temporary plugged it into my computer speakers, until I found small Sound system that I liked. I love all the features of my JVC 5-CD Changer, and use the 'random' button a lot. The Remote Control works wonderfully, also!
Summary: After many years of faithful service, I finally had to replace my old Sony 5 disc changer. I looked at the available options and this one came the closet to what I had before. It is easy to work and has just the features I needed. Price couldn't be better either. Few local stores carried this type of CD changer, so Amazon is definitely the way to go.
Summary: I've had the JVC changer, XL-FZ258BK for about a month. It was playing Christmas CD's almost continuously over the holidays with 5 CD's on 'random'. It worked perfectly through my Bose Wave Radio. It played all my home-recorded CD's also; however, it does not like CD-RW's. So far, I'm very satisfied and it is worth the $129 I paid.
Summary: We had an older Sony disc changer model which was similar in design to this one but died on us gradually over time. Although I am not a 'gadget' person, so I can't get technical about what makes this model great for us, I had done some research on this product and also trusted the JVC name.
