Summary: Early versions of this player would freeze fairly often when playing from the USB source. If you have this problem, Denon has a software patch for the DN-D 4500MK2 that will take care of it. Installing the patch is simple and quick. However, the other problem with the DN-D 4500MK2 is that, even with the software patch, when it reaches the very end of a track, it plays a split second of the next song in the folder when playing WAV files from a USB device.
Excerpt: I use this to accompany a travelling professional choir in concert. This is an awesome machine. Have been using the older Denon 2500 for years. This is very similar with the added USB port. At this poinbt I do not have anything negative to report.
Excerpt: I have been using Denon professional equipent since the mid 90's as a dj. My first two dual players just handled cd's. I am excited to now have the USB ports. Love the quality of the sound that Denon offers as well as the versatility of having the remote piece.
Summary: I had been in the market for a new dual cd player for my business and settled on this Denon. I could not be happier with the results. It is user friendly and does a great job. I felt that it was a great value at the price.
Summary: The earlier DN-2100F and DN-2500F models supported Single/Continuous Repeat. It appears that the support has been dropped for this feature. While the current DND-4500 seems to be a faithful upgrade of every other feature, I can find no information on how to have the player Repeat a single track or a single disc. The new DND-4500 supports the related, but different Single/Continuous Relay Mode.
