The DCM-390 5-disc capacity CD player from Denon that has a carousel type CD changer. The CD player, which is part of the company’s 300 series product line, can playback regular CDs, CD-R/RW as well as WMA and MP3 CDs. The DCM-390 measures 17.1 x 4.7 x 15.7 inches (W x H x D) and weighs approximately 14 pounds. The player is available in a black color and ships with a wireless infrared remote control.

In addition to standard audio, WMA and MP3 encoded CD-R/RW discs, the Denon DCM-390 also features a High Definition Compatible Digital (HDCD) decoder from Pacific Microsonics (now owned by Microsoft) for playback of HDCD media.

The DCM-390 utilizes a Multilevel Noise Shaping digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The DAC is integrated with the output amp and minimizes high frequency interference to provide a clean analog sound.

Playback mode offered by the Denon DCM-390 include several repeat modes: A-B repeat, all discs repeat, single track repeat and all track repeat. The CD player can also be set to random play or shuffle mode or be programmed to play up to 32 tracks. The DCM-390 also features a 20-track music calendar.

The Denon DCM-390’s connectivity options include a 6.25 mm stereo headphone jack and a single audio line out (RCA phono x 2) located at the front. The rear of the unit houses an SPDIF output (RCA phono), TOSLINK output as well as 2 remote control connectors.
