Excerpt: I have been using a built-in card reader on a Dell monitor. The CF cards worked fine. Not so with the SD cards. I read all the reviews on these card reader on the B&H site. Everyone seemed to give this one a very good rating. I agree. I bought 2. One for my wife. ........
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast, Portable, Reliable
Excerpt: Bought this reader after frustrations with my other card reader. SD cards fit in a slot along the length as opposed to in the end like so many other readers. This allows a slim profile that will fit anywhere a normal USB jump drive will. Accompanies me on all my travels.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, High Capacity, Portable, Reliable
Excerpt: Giving it four stars because of the way the SD card loads into the reader. My other brand houses the card and encloses it so it doesn't stick out from the side. Don't guess that matters much. This is very small and easy to pack.
Excerpt: Seems well made -- compact design. On my older Windows XP/USB 1.0 PC it takes multiple plug/unplug, uninstall/install cycles to get it to recognize that memory media is present. It does work eventually but I have a cheaper reader that works every time so I'll be using that one instead until I get a new PC, (most likely sooner than later)
