Summary: Fast card reader that works great with Sandisk Extreme Pro SDHC (95MB/s) cards. I use it to transfer pictures from my SD to computer and gets around 100MB/s burst speeds. Downside is that it gets pretty warm if plugged in for a while and it makes rattling noises.
Summary: Good thing I only paid $10 for this thing, or I'd be perturbed. It has sliding slots to hide the USB port and to ? make it easier to put in and take out cards ? But the construction of these sliders is so cheap and flimsy that it takes more effort to align the cards than the benefit gained (which is pretty much none) by the feature. Should have just done without the slidy gimmicks and made a solid piece of hardware.
Summary: I'm using this item in conjunction with a USB OTG adapter, and my Nexus 7. Great way to expand memory of a device with memory cards instead of usb sticks. Like how everything tucks away when not in use. USB 3.0 is great when putting things on cards from my PC.
