Update the Firmware If You Have Compatibility Issues
27 June 2012
Summary: I see that some may have compatibility issues, and am not sure if anyone posted the link for the firmware update, so here it is: [...] This is a great device, and I have had no issues using it with Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit).
Summary: Have a MacBook OSX 10.7.4. Using SanDisk SDHC 8GB Memory Cards. Some cards do not read. I.e., plug it in and nothing shows up on my desktop. Visited Kingston website and discovered a firmware update was available. But not for Macs... Now it is a matter of discovering which company is at fault: Kingston or SanDisk.
Summary: I was going crazy by moving files from my desktop computer to my laptop so I can use the build in SD reader, to move my files to the cellphone, I can use Bluetooth but is too slow, use the cable but still slow, so by working directly with the card was the smart choise so I need a device like this to overcome my problem.
Perfect if you have many devices with different size memory cards

Summary: I just purchased this based on reading the many reviews and watching the how-to video. I am not as tech-savvy as I should be so I wanted simple. I did have to visit the Kingston website and download the driver and read the installation guide (all of three sentences) to be sure I was doing things right. For example I wanted to know if I had to have the device plugged into the USB port, not plugged in, or it didn't matter.
Summary: I have bought two for work and one for myself. These card readers are exactly what they say they are. They work perfectly. I cannot recommend them more highly. My favourite feature is that they have a microSD slot so that I don't have to try to find my SD to micro converter.
Summary: For the price I paid for this reader ($13.52) you can not go wrong, it is very versatile and transfers the data extremely quick. My one issue is that it does not accept Sony's Memory Stick Pro cards, which is more my issue but I thought I would voice it non the less. This is not a major problem now as most things are going to the SD format but my old Sony point and shoot uses the MS Pro.
Summary: I was searching for a multi Card reader for my computer because my old computer broke down and my new computer doesnt have one installed. Shipping was fast for standard and it was well packaged. Card Reader works very well Thankyou !
Summary: I'm very happy with the performance of the Kingston memory reader. I use compact flash and several other memory card readers I've had made me unsure whether I was inserting the card correctly and this one doesn't do that. Also the short cord is great and the option for a longer cord is really good. Overall I very happy with this reader.
