Summary: I was looking to replace a Kicker CVR-10 that had the rubber pull out and after talking to a Crutchfield Specialist he recommended the P2D4-10 sub and it sounds great. Never had such good bass sound in our boat. Would recommend to anyone wanting good sounding bass.
Summary: I've not had it installed very long but have been impressed by it thus far. I managed to build enclosure it that was only 6.5" deep in a truck box configuration. I had to remove magnet cover to gain depth. I knew this sub was big, but seeing it impressed me more. For the price, I think it's a great performer with a very nice look without all the gaudy stuff that some subs have. I liked the classic look. Built enclosure to sealed spec and am very happy with performance.
Summary: Came exactly as advertised, simple install and sounds great. If you're looking for additional bass for musicality then this is perfect. It hits lows nicely without overpowering the highs from door speakers.
Summary: I have two of these P-2s in a ported box hooked up to a Rockford Fosgate Punch 300 watt rms amp, this set up has the subs under powered some what but they still pound like crazy for two 10s, and ive been around alot of systems so i know how these 10s measure up to others and they are really a great buy for the sub you are getting, another thing dont let the 300 watt rms power handling fool you they are still plenty loud.
Summary: I have a van but i didnt want a big box that will take too much space. I made a ported box for it and matched it with RF's monoblock amp. Installed it in the van and got good bass out it. With what i got out of it, i think its time to upgrade the stock speakers of the vehicle just to keep up with the bass.
