I love it but...

JasonB, Crutchfield
26 June 2015
  • Summary: I love this sub. I am driving it with a 400W RMS Kenwood amp. Right now it is in a "sealed" box. (It isn't 100% sealed, my order from a separate website of a panel mount connector was delayed, and I couldn't wait for it to start enjoying the bass, so the wires to the sub run through holes I drilled...
  • Pros: Very strong powerful bass.
  • Cons: A little pricey. Bass not as tight as I want.

these things are HEAVY and could be heavy hitters

Adam, Sonic Electronix
14 June 2014
  • Conclusion: ok the title says it all.. fosgate has always been good but fosgate has been better. I member back in the day when the older model of these subs could take your breath away, thats no longer true with these, they sound amazing and hit harder than a crappy comp, comp r or cvr....

Pretty good but its a monster in size

Bw, Sonic Electronix
26 June 2012
  • Conclusion: I'm happy, but not blown away. I figured for the size of this thing it'd pound WAY harder and deeper than it does. But, that could also be my box config. I run a sealed box. It started a bit larger (0.875 cuft) and I've downsized it to about 0.6cuft (0.55 is RF's recommended).
