Sounds fantastic and hooked it up to the factory amp

Summary: Replaced the factory sub in a 98 Explorer Limited. Sounds fantastic and hooked it up to the factory amp. Be sure you purchase a trim removal tool set as you have to remove the entire rear side panel as the original subwoofer is secured with a bolt on the backside of the subwoofer enclosure. This is a easy job for anyone with any mechanical common sense. I highly recommend this product to replace your factory subwoofer in your explorer.
Great value for the price , almost perfect factory replacement !

Summary: I bought the Pyramid 8" Subwoofer to replace a damaged original equipment speaker in my 2001 GMC Yukon XL . The quility and sound is is equal to the factory original . The mounting required a little modification as the 4 screw mounting pattern was a little different than the original ! Overall I am very satisfied with the product .
Summary: Works Great in a Mitsubishi Endeavor 2004. Had to drill 4 holes for screws into the sheetmetal of the car. Used some sealant for the back of the sub where it contacts the sheetmetal. Nice clean sound and very CHEAP!! You'll need the correct butt connectors which are not included.
Summary: I got these as a cheap replacement for some old 8inch subs I had and these out preform them! I do not know the brand of the old ones or I would specify, but they were unmarked. I tried the BOSS audio 8inch Chaos Exxreme before these and they sounded like garbage. These literally thumped them out of the water!!! I am running a 125Watt Rockford Fosgate Prime Amp and this system just kicks.
Conclusion: I replaced a blown woofer with one of these in my bass boat and it was an easy install, has great sound, and so far can take some splashing on the river. I will definitely buy some more again when I blow them up!
