Summary: I had imported these mid range speakers 2 nos.(would not call them as complete subwoofers and fitted with an Amp. Works decent no regrets. However the base output is very punchy. I would prefer a boomy subwoofer, which produces low rumbles at low volumes rather. Plan to upgrade to good subwoofer which has good rumble than this.
Summary: These sound good. Actually these are not subwoofer. These are mid range speakers. These have big magnet which punchs good. Good bass. These work better without Amp. Really good deal to replace factory speakers.
Conclusion: I bought four of these to put in on an amp that was recommended for them and they can not handle that amp so i tried one of my smaller amps and it still distorted some. I ended up just hooking them up to the head unit and they sound great like that. Definitely not a sub woofer. They are mid range speakers and work well that way.

Conclusion: Whippin the 2002 Mazda Millenia, my car can barely handle this bad boy it hits so hard. All of the kids laugh at me when i drive by i guess there just hatin. I got a solid two weeks out of them. Some day i hope to upgrade to Sony Explodes.
Summary: I used this to replace a blown factory sub in an '02 jeep wrangler. Cant compare sound because it was blown when I bought the car. Sounds much better than without a sub. Not for an audiophile, but fills out the low range well and is a steal for the price. The mount holes were so close to the foam that one screw ripped the outer rim of the foam. Bummer. I still used it and am pleased overall.
