Summary: You can't beat the prize! I am satified with the quality and sound. I got 6inch on the back door and 8inch behind the seats. They rock! I use all with 900 pioneer amp. Coil last for long time before you smell it.
Summary: Replaced the factory Harmon Kardon subwoofer in my 2000 BMW M Roadster with this driver. Most people advise that you spend $60 on something much higher end. Others go the route of replacing the factory enclosure altogether, spending upwards of $800, and that's with a "group buy" discount! This speaker is performing quite well so far. I'm not asking much of it, just keeping reasonable/normal volume and bass levels but it's just right, in my opinion.
Summary: Used it for a drop in replacement for the center subwoofer in my 2002 BMW Z3, it fits in the tight factory speaker box without any modification, it literally was a half hour install. The sound is as good or better than the original, your not going to rattle the car next to you but for $25ish it works for me.
Summary: You honestly get what you pay for with this one. I wasn't expecting jaw-dropping bass hits and I didn't get any. I bought it as a replacement for my 2005 Wrangler center console. It sounds better than a blown speaker....that's about it. 4 stars for the price and the fact it hasn't blown yet.
Conclusion: Used this to replace the stock subwoofer on the promedia computer speaker system. This woofer is built better than the stock sub and sounds just as good. only drawback was the terminals were the same size which was hard to distinguish which was positive and negative as there were no etch marks. The exposed cone gives the box a more stylish look to the system as well. Overall great buy.
