Summary: I purchased this speaker with the amp and wire kit. The amp with the set was 1100 watts. When installed in my car the speaker made a funny static sound and the volume was turned down. When turned half way the static faded some and the speaker showed good bass.
Great purchase for anyone wanting clean sound or just starting out

Summary: I bought these subs a year ago, the Pyle PLBW104 10-Inch 1,000 Watt DVC. For the price, they are a great investment. I bought them because I was looking for cheap components to do my first sound system in my truck. I am very pleased with these subs.
Summary: Currently running ~325 watts RMS to this sub woofer @ 2ohms and I am very happy with the sound it produces. I was a little worried about the Pyle brand name but this sub woofer was in my price range and it has turned out to be a really pleasant surprise!

Summary: Well worth the money. These things can hit very, very low tones if you put them in the right box. I happened to put them in too big of an enclosure (make sure its a sealed enclosure btw), but still sounds good.
