Summary: This sub is awesome when I opened the package it looks awesome from the back it almost seems like a waste to put such detail into the back of the speaker that you mostly do not see. But this sub is actually a quad voice coil and it took me about two hours to figure out how to make it work. I know that if you Google QVC subs the next one is over five hundred this sub is a sleeper and I am gonna buy 1 or two more to compliment my system.
Summary: i bought two of these subs and a lanzar vibe 292 amp and was also running 2 rock ford tens off one amp and ran them for about a month and both of the 15 over heated every time i played them loud and now they have both blown i would not recommend these subs if u are looking to play them with any power to them they will over heat and fry.
Conclusion: I bought this less than 60 days ago. i had it running at about 350 watts at the start and it was getting hot. i blew it yesterday at 600 watts rms... its nice if you want a little bump but not if you like a lot of bass. I don't recommend.
Conclusion: Boom for your buck, thats for sure, i have two of these, each powerred by a 2000 watt monoblock amp, and two of the 10 inch Lanzars powered by a 2000 watt 2 channel amp. Amazing, loud as hell, and good quality. My opinion, they need to ben much more expensive. one warning though, the subwoofers and made of cheap metal, so the terminals on the speaker will strip very easily, make sure you have the speakers hooked up the first time, or they will strip and make things...
Summary: starting to get frustrated, this is the second sub i have bought that blew within a day and this time with a different amp, my Kenwood 900w rms amp blew this 1000w rms sub up easy, either the ratings are wrong or these companies just suck, tried Lanzar and ssl, would recommend for half power, 500w rms and 1000w peak if you don't want to blow it, amp was sup half way with no bass boost, LPF set to 90 hrz
