Great Product

Derek S., Newegg

  • Summary: Overall, I feel this is a quality product. I bought one for my wife's Civic, and now I'm going to order a second one for my Impreza. I am running the sub off of a Pioneer FH-X700BT and the sound quality is incredible.
  • Pros: This unit has exceptional sound quality. Doesn't take trunk space. Mounts under the driver seat in a 2001-2005 Civic.
  • Cons: Deep bass, but doesn't rattle the windows like a traditional amp with normal subs. Don't be fooled, this unit claims to be 600W. I have a 100W RMS powered sub in my house that has much deeper, and cleaner bass. I would estimate that this unit is about 70w-90w TOPS. However, the sound quality is still good, as long as you are expecting a sub of no more than 100W RMS.

  • Summary: Great little amp if you are pressed for space. If you want to add some low end to your system, and you are not trying to impress your neighbors, this little amp does the trick.

this sub has a great sound but also an over heating problem.

  • Summary: This unit was ordered for a friend who had heard mine and wanted to know what I was using. This unit is actually being used on a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle because of its size and power. It can be secured in the trunk and driven by the two rear speakers making for an awesome sound for a bike. The one problem is the dispersion of heat being in the trunk with no air movement,we had to drill holes in back to allow air circulation when it gets hot.

couldnt be happier

  • Summary: Had a decent Sony head unit with decent 4 speaker set up. Wanted more bass but with an F250 there isnt anything practical available without losing room in the extended cab. Until I found this. Its fekin awesome, and this is the 8 inch! All in one convenience, and sits nicely under the back bench seat. Bazss is deep and punch is great all for $120. The seller had it to my door in two days! Ive only owned it for 2weeks so as for longevity I cannot say, but heres to hopin.
  • Pros: Very easy to set up. Hardest part is running and concealing audio and power wires
  • Cons: none

  • Summary: If you have a single speaker AM radio from a truck in the 70's this would be amazing. however most new cars have speakers that will produce the notes resonated from this woofer. underpowered and not as small as one would hope.
