Awesome sub for the price!

Charles Hays, Amazon
2 September 2014
  • Summary: I have this single sub wired in parallel in a ported box 1.8cu with a Planet Audio 4000 watt amp. I had to turn the gain almost all the way down to make the bass not overpower. When I push this thing a little bit it flexes my Jeep, the mirrors rattle so hard you can't see. For the price you can't go wrong. I had it in a sealed 1cu box for a few weeks wired in series, it hit pretty hard but not as hard as the ported enclosure, but that is another review.

beefy lanzar

7 June 2011
  • Summary: the lanzar opti1233d is probably the best subs i've ever owned.since im very cheap,i bought some $45 boss phantom subs and put them into two prefab audioenhancer boxes.in my "mafia style" trunk, grand marquis, ran by the "ap3k" audiopipe3000d amp.i was very unsatisfied!after one week i returned the subs to amazon!the sub were rated at 1150 watts rms,i gave them 750 wrms and they started smoking!

i) Great value for money

Richard J, Amazon
4 November 2014
  • Summary: Pros: i) Great value for money. You're getting a lot of bass with these; i've owned a couple of subwoofers over the years, but none have felt as powerful as this! Cons: i) it's quite a heavy piece of kit! ii) poorly packaged.
