Summary: this sub was meant for one thing only,! deep bass! i only have a 200 watt class d mtx amp pushing it and it slams. can hear me coming two blocks away. bout to upgrade to a rockford 750.1 amp. and then its really gonna be beast.
Summary: I had a custom-made box by a local shop that deals with supercars also. But it is no match against JL audio sub that was in a Bentley. Hands down, you can hear the big difference. Sorry that I dropped a lot of money for this square thing.
Pros: different looking
Cons: I you love your ride. Find other subs that will make you love your ride more...
Summary: This sub just doesn't cut it when it comes to sound quality. I really tried to liked the sub and spent hours trying to tune it to my liking. Don't get me wrong this thing thumps but it sounds awful. The square cone pushes more air but isn't as responsive as a 12 inch round sub.
Summary: Besides the fact that this thing is built like a tank and consumes mass amounts of power, I have no complaints.....oh, an those things I stated are not even complaints, but rather just some of the facts! Lol! Make sure your amp & system are wired & ready to feed this hungry little monster!
Pros: Durable, capable of handling some serious power, small enclosure capable increasing flexibility in box desigin and positioning.
Cons: Needs an extremly stable power supply. Ie; serious amplifier & wiring to feed said amplifier.....additional battery and/or power cap recomended??
