Conclusion: I have 4 of these in a 9.5cu box tuned at 39hz in the back of my Explorer. Running them off a HFi1000.1D @ 475 watts rms. For the price and such these destroy!! Only thing I don't like about them is the terminals. They're kinda far apart.
Conclusion: Got 2 of these, I think they are priced a bit high but they are of good quality. The surround does not allow for great amounts of excursion but they still get really low. I would recomend this.
Conclusion: I have two of these in a ported box around 8cubes. The lows are ridiculous. Give them a chance to get flexin over time. At first they are pretty tight. Feeding them 800watts off of a HFi 3000 at 4 ohms. My other subs are taking a break because of winter but these kickers still bang hard.
Conclusion: I had these over the summer after i upgraded from jl 10's, pshh. Best choice of my life. These things flexed the roof of my blazer i could bounce quarters off of it. With these you are that guy at the red light that is pounding. And the best part is i had them running on RMS power. I had an alpine mrp-m500 powering these at 2 ohms. With a ported box about 6 cubic feet, phew put a couple grand back for ticket costs.
Conclusion: I have two of these in a sealed box, built to Kicker specs with a hifonics Titan 750. They are pretty darn good for a budget sub. They are durable (they're on a pontoon boat) and sound great. They do tend to bottom out at high volume. Adding polyfill helps. Great buy.
