Summary: Great sub, paired with Sound Ordnance M1500. I had it in a hatchback where sound quality was noticeably better than in my trunk of my new Acura TSX. Still a great sub but in an open hatchback this sub sounds fantastic.
Summary: Great sub for a great price! Love JL subs and this combo is perfect for what I wanted. Medium sized sub in a box that wouldn't take up much space. Fits great in the trunk of my 95 civic. I used an old Alpine amp I had laying around the garage and after some fine tuning, it sounds great.
Pros: Everything you want in an economical package.
Summary: JL Audio has always been my go to company for subwoofers. For this system though, I needed something simple, small, and ready to install. I was glad to see JL Audio had something to fit my needs. This box is solid, and the sound quality is superb. If you need low cost bass, this is a great option.
Summary: Great sub woofer with tight engaging bass. Operates well with a minimum of 300 watts of clean power ! A good setup for saving space and getting great sound . Thanks Crutchfield for your great customer service and product support .
Summary: This is some great bass! I chose it because it would fit in the back of my jeep and it was on my budget. I have a soft top and it still sounds great and hits the notes hard, if that's what you like. You can also turn the bass down if you just want bass to round out your music, which it does brilliantly as well. My favorite part is how it allows you to actually feel your music without becoming overpowering.
Summary: I can honestly say that the sound this one Bass Wedge puts out is exactly what I was looking for. I had previously installed new Rockford door speakers in my '00 Blazer but was still needing more low end sound. It is compact, sounds good, and built well. I have had many compliments on the sound produced and they are surprised to see the size and only one 10" sub.
Summary: Sounds great, fills in the missing bass from my speakers. Using a Rockford 500x1d to power it and it sounds really good. I'm not trying to provide sounds for hood but with it sitting in the trunk of my sedan it sounds great.
Summary: Bought this to fill the bottom range in a 04 mustang GT vert, tore out the MACH 460 and started from scratch. This Speaker was paired with a 300 watt amp bridged mono. I didn't want a real big thump like a kids car I just wanted to hear the bottom end of music. It will do boom boom but probably is best suited for clean tight bass fans. I used it in my trunk and mounted a piece of diamond plate to it for a nice little amp rack.
