Summary: For an 8" sub it is very powerful and sounds great. It fit in my Tahoe's original sub box and is being powered by a Rockford Fosgate 500 watt mono amp(it seems like it could handle much more).
Excerpt: The original driver in my Bazooka 8" passive tube rotted away from age. I found the JBL GT0804 fit perfectly (almost) and bought one. Just finished testing it after the install and it sounds great. At least as good as the original. Probably better. The only thing needed for a perfect fit was to grind some of the tube away inside to clear the wire posts.
This sub sounds amazing and punches in the chest like much larger subs do!!

Summary: Im in love with this subwoofer!!! Ive tried using a single image dynamics ctx104 10", a single sundown audio sa12-d4 12", a single kicker comp 15", and then this single 8" sub. Of all the different subs, this one sounds the best by far. it doesn't hit as hard as the larger subs but in a fairly small (.7 cubic ft)ported box @ 30Hz, this sub hits just as hard as the 10" and slightly less than the 12".
Excerpt: I installed a pair of 804's in my 2006 Tundra. I used the 804's because of limited depth under the rear bench seat and have them powered with a 1200 Watt JBL GTO amp and they ROCK!!! Great power and very clean too!!!
Summary: I wanted some more bass in my 89LX mustang. I didn't want something that would take up too much space and this sub had pretty consistent reviews. I am powering it with a Kicker ZX200.2 off of one channel for now. I plan to let it break in fully before I hit it with 200 watts. It is in a Sound Ordnance bass bunker with polyfil. The sub has a lot of range and really shines in the lows. Not something I expected from an 8" sub. It is very accurate and fast.
