The JBL GTO804 features 8 inches of Single Voice Coil Subwoofer which is said to be a full inch shallower than equivalent sized models from competing brands. It offers to fit into many vehicles. This subwoofer has progressive spider which provides control at excursion limits and reduces woofer distortion. It features hi-roll rubber surrounds which provide cone edge suspension and long-throw linearity with the proper amount of control and stability at excursion limits. The JBL GTO804 offers vented pole pieces which provide additional cooling to the motor structure. It is said to increase in the subwoofer’s thermal power handling capability. Other features include RMS power range which is at 200 watts. Peak power handling is at 800 watts. This subwoofer has sensitivity of 91 dB at 2.83 volts. It features an impedance of voice coils of 4 Ohms. It also offers 30HZ to 400Hz frequency response.
