Conclusion: I bought these jbl speakers just to have a lil bump in the trunk nothing too small and nothing too big. But when I installed these subs i was amazed at how they didnt require a lot of watts to power and that they can take more power as well.
Summary: Great speakers. They handle a 1200 watt amp and keep on going. They look great in the back of my SUV and they pump. I would recommend these speakers to anyone who wants the possibility of going deaf, that's how hard they slam. Excellent!!!!
Summary: I paired this with a jbl gt series 770 watt amp and this setup pounds 10x harder then my 1000 watt kenwood, 2 12s kenwood. Definately a good bang for your buck. The guy who installed my system said hed never heard of the gt series jbl but was blown away how much bass came out of such a small box and...
Summary: This sub is JBL quality through and through, I teamed it up with a Sony XM-GTR3301D Monoblock amp and the results are spectacular. Build quality is 10/10 - although they could have painted the inside of the back of the sub as you can easily see wood in the port.
Conclusion: Been a JBL devotee since my Dad heard them in a music hall in Houston 30 some years ago and bought his first set of L110's (still has em'), and I have all JBL's in my home theater set up. These just fit in the trunk of my Chevy Cobalt and rocks that little car..
Conclusion: This box is extremely loud and clear and uses very little wattage to do it. It is very conservative on space and looks very attractive. You cant go wrong with this one especially considering what you are getting for the price in comparison to others.
