Excerpt: My weekend car is actually garaged at the moment so I'm using it in my home entertainment system. Powered by a 500 watt computer power source. It sounds great. The remote is nice. I've spent twice as much and not been as happy.
Excerpt: Wow... I coupled this GT-BassPro12 with JBL GT638s in my 2011 Jeep JK. WOW!!! you get as much bass as you want. This powered subwoofer is incredibly easy to install and fills the space in my JK with way more bass than I need (seriously... I am 43); but, put Beastie Boys Intergalactic on and I feel 28 all over again!
The box will take up most of your space in a Jeep - so, be prepared. Bigger cars will have no problem.
Excerpt: This combination is perfect for addition to a stock car sound system as it is self contained in a compact smart package. From the auto power on to the built in high level inputs, the convenience is unbeatable. Over and above that, the sound is amazing! The remote level control is a must because this is simply too loud for conventional commute trips, but when you need to crank it up, it certainly turns heads!
Excerpt: perfect for a budget with small space and amazing quality sound from just 1 12 inch sub. if your looking to add bass to your ride, get this now. adds that bang that you just need and only thing you need to hook it up is just an 8GA amp kit .
Summary: After browsing around at a few different places, I went in to a stereo shop I normally go to and asked many questions since I know nothing about stereos. Previously I was told to go with a 10 But the guy showed me this and I had him test it for me so I could hear. Immediately I was like holy crap that sounds clean. You cant beat the price either considering its already in a box with an amp. Hard to beat at this price.
Excerpt: It will definitely take significant amount of space in your boot and it's a bit costly too but still, its nothing in front of its high performance. If you play some rock music and increase the bass, the car feels like its going to explode from the inside. It has got an External controller so you can turn it down depending on the type of song.
But it harms the battery if you play it with the engine turned off, to get the best results , play it when engine is turned on.
Summary: I recently installed this in my Civic and couldn't be happier. It's a great powered sub that thumps when you want it too. This thing gets loud and I only have the amp up half way. The control knob it comes with is really convenient. The reason I picked this was because I wanted a neat package that had some power, but some might consider it bulky if they have very limited trunk space. Overall, I like it a lot.
Pros: Solid performance, looks good
Cons: Size (depending on the car), might not be enough for super bass heads
