  • Summary: Would recommend bazookas to anyone, they may look small but pack a huge punch these small babies with their amp pack a punch so big you only need one. 250watt d class amp doesnt sound to impressive but once you hear it you'll be glad you purchased this bazooka. Customer support is outstanding!!!! If your looking for a compact sub-woofer with a giant punch this is for you....

  • Summary: I put this baby on a golf cart, for that reason it rocks! I have 5 speakers on it and this completely topped it off. Two 6 1/2" Sony marines, 2 1 1/2" Fultron Tweets and the Bazooka in the back hatch. I am completely impressed!! I have owned many Bazookes before, and have never had any complaints.

installed in F-250 single cab

  • Summary: Nice sub woofer. For the money and size it does a really good job. I added the remote controller to it (a must). I kind of wish I had went for the two speaker version. I have it behind the seat in my pick-up (tight fit) and I have it facing the driver so it rattles my seat; I did have it facing the other way (suggested install way) and it seemed more even sounding that way, but I like to feel it.

Broken unit :-(

Victor, Crutchfield
8 February 2012
  • Summary: I got this Bazooka following the recommendation from a Crutchfield Advisor. I guess the sound may be good enough, but I cannot judge that completely because my unit arrived with a broken back panel (where the amp connections are located). Sadly I noticed the problem after installing all the cables because I left the sub in the box until all the cables where installed :-( So anyways, I connected the sub to my car just to see if it worked, and it works.
  • Pros: Small and easy to install and remove. Does not add too much weight to the car.
  • Cons: Plastic in the back panel is too weak to hold the amp.

Getting the job done!

Steve from White Plains, NY, Sonic Electronix

  • Conclusion: For me, the Bazooka 8250 was the perfect choice. I drive a Subaru Outback, and as an entertainer, the back of my car is always loaded with equipment. So I needed something powerful but with a small footprint. The 8250 delivers in a big way! Even with only an 8 inch speaker, it fills out the bottom of my music nicely. My teenage boys like to listen to a 'rap' station on the XM radio.
