This subwoofer is pretty bad ass

Dalton Long, Amazon

  • Summary: This subwoofer is pretty bad ass. If you buy this make sure you don't put it in a band pass box... Other wise this thing will hit every note without distortion.

These subs are crazy!

Duane, Amazon
15 October 2014
  • Summary: Got one of these in a ported box to specs running off a Kicker zx750.1 amp with the gain turned way down and this sub knocks. I'm thoroughly impressed. Only bad thing is I have to turn my HU almost all the way down when I'm in traffic or around neighborhoods because I've been told that my bass can be heard from inside the house. I haven't turned the gain up and I'm satisfied with the output of this driver.

Alpine type R 12s

  • Summary: These subs are good for the money. I am just hoping they don't tear apart at the surround like my last pair. Poor design? Not sure. But now they are in a custom ported box per spec and with much less power (about 600 w rms each) they slam!!! Good luck.

Only if you're willing to buy another one.

Kevin Cox, Amazon
22 August 2014
  • Summary: Bought this sub with my mrv m500 and it sounded great while it lasted. All of a sudden it went out!! I never exceeded the volume more then most people do and yet somehow this "top notch" sub brand decided to die on me. The amp itself is perfectly fine. And of course amazon's horrible warranty only covers 30 days which basically does nothing at all so I'm screwed out of $150 plus tax and shipping.

Good sub but not great

dave, Amazon
5 August 2014
  • Summary: Have owned this sub for about 4 months feeding it 900 watts from a hifonics amp. Sub hits real hard but not as hard as the pioneer champion pro series it replaced. Low bass response could be a little better but you get what you pay for. Had it in a 2.0cf ported box tuned to 32hz but actully was too loud for my taste, wanted more controlled bass so mounted it a 1.2cf sealed box and it sounds a lot better for my taste.

Great run it full power.

Brandyn P., Amazon

  • Summary: Ran one swr-12d4 hooked up to an mrx-m100 ran to 2 ohms pushing the full 1000 watts rms. No issues ever, had legit 4 gauge, with a big fuse, and it was good. Had the sub in a bassworx single ported 12" box. I promise you ran correctly to a matching amp you will have no problems, check your wiring diagrams people because it's simple this sub can take the entire 1000 without a hiccup.

... had one of these subs in my Blazer and liked it so much I added two more

Danny Dement, Amazon
11 July 2014
  • Summary: I already had one of these subs in my Blazer and liked it so much I added two more. In my opinion these subs are on level with others that cost twice as much. I ran an old MTX 81000d to one in a vented box built to specs. Spec sheet on the amp list it at 1,297 watts at 12.5 volts. I'm going back with three in a sealed and divided enclosure and believe I can safely feed everything my amp has to them and never fear of damage.
