Summary: I purchased this to have a matching pair of subs, and am VERY pleased with the sound of my stereo now. PRO: Excellent sub woofer. Not only is it loud, it has a very high sound quality. Very smooth sound, not distorted at all - I am pushing a pair of these with a 900 watt Rockford amp. CON: None. Buy this!

Summary: I bought one of these last year and was very pleased.had it in a vented 1.65 cu. ft box on a kicker zx750.1 amp.man did this pound. very nice and durable sub one of the best i have had and heard.got plenty of compliments on it.alot of people thought i had two twelves in my car. cant go wrong with it.
Summary: This model is not the top of the line, but it is up there. The Type R has a lower, cleaner bass than the Type S or Type E subs. I am running a Alpine MRP-M500 mono amp to a single sub. This combo rattles all my windows at the halfway mark and the gains almost completely down. It also pounded hard with a 600W Sony amp I had. The amp was old and kept shutting down, so I upgraded.
Summary: This is an awesome product! People will FEEL you coming from far away! Sound quality is great! This sub will definitely surprise you. Best sub under $300 i have tried. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a high class subwoofer without getting into spending crazy money for competition products.
Summary: These thing is unbelieveable,I have them wired to a Alpine pdx 1000 watt amp, everything shakes on my 2002 mercury mountaineer, when I turn them up I feel like my skin is leaving my body, othe peeps in my vehicle complain of their heart. But overall great subs.
Summary: This sub is one of the best subs I've ever owned, and trust me I've been through a few brands (polk, pioneer, sony, now alpine). Pushing this sucker with an Alpine MRP-500 amp which pushes 500 watts rms at 2 ohm load. It literally feels like someone's constantly kicking the back of my seat, with the headunit (pioneer DEH-p4000ub, also a good product) at around -12 (highest is +6) and the gain at about half on the amp.
