Excerpt: Does exactly what it says on the box, was not completely compatible with the existing system on my Vivaro Van but with a bit of adjusting here and there got it installed in 10 mins, Got it reading out texts no problem, cant yet get it to read out the sat nav commands off my phone but I suspect that's just the Garmin app on my Sony Xperia
Excerpt: Bought this to replace a double din factory fit stereo which was water damaged. It fitted in perfectly with the existing brackets and the facia fitted perfectly too. Plenty of room for the adaptor wires and plugs which I had to buy separately. It looks really good. Put the external mic onto my sun visor and it all works and sounds great! Love the options with sound set up and lighting set up. Can set it to dim/change colour when lights switched on.
Excerpt: Very surprised after some reviews, but AMAZING stereo! I purchased this radio to replace the factory stereo and I needed Bluetooth and Sirius XM features. I ordered everything from Halfords for the first time and loved the fact it came with everything I possibly needed. INSTALL: I received it and began the hookup. Right off the bat, I could see the new harness had no where near the same amount of wires coming out of it.. . as it did coming in from the factory harness.
Conclusion: The Sony WX-GT90BT is a great choice for those who want a feature loaded double din head unit that has excellent calling capabilities without all the frills of a DVD/Nav unit. The unit has so many adjustable features you are going to be able to tailor it to suit your needs no matter how demanding they are. One word of caution though, this unit will expose your exisiting speakers for either how good or how bad they really are.
Excerpt: Excellent product, delivers on every level, very quick connection with Bluetooth and great sound quality. I would also happily pay for store fitting again, very professional and great customer service at the Worksop store.
Summary: I first purchased this radio as it was a double din radio with Sirius/Xm capability. During the first year it performed fine. My needs were fairly simple as I don't need all the additional features such as the Bluetooth and pandora capabilities. After the warranty expired the selected color wouldn't remain on the display and it started flashing different colors and the various features scrolled across the screen-just like it was in the demo mode.
Summary: This head unit is decent, but it's not amazing. Most of the interface limitations are the result of the single-line display. The options for browsing USB drives/iOS devices are very limited and clunky (the default way of browsing iPod libraries is by album). While it has a lot of audio options, in my vehicle, they seemed a little gimmicky.
Summary: All in all, it's a great product. I replaced a stock radio in a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. It was simple to install. Only knock I have on the product itself is the fact that Bluetooth devices have to be reconnected each time the radio / vehicle is turned off. I haven't used aftermarket Bluetooth products in the past but my previous experience with stock systems did not disconnect the device and require re-connection, basically starting over to include display settings.
