Summary: I installed the unit in my motorhome. Purchased the unit just for the BT feature but everything works great....Sony is a super brand. Installation was a breeze. All the features are easy to use you don't need a lot of smarts to operate. The Bluetooth feature works great and clear. Very easy setup.
Summary: For the price this Sony Reciever is top of the line. I bought mine a few months ago because I needed a new stereo for my Jeep and I was browsing around and saw this one. I love the fact that it has bluetooth and a built in mic for handsfree calling.
Summary: I had this radio installed about 2 weeks ago. It sounds good, no real complaints. you have to read the manual a little bit to get the hang of setting the stations, clock etc. I dont really use the blue tooth.
Summary: It seems like a decent unit, the sound is OK and the controls are not horrible. there are some quirks in the features though. the display dim is controlled from the system its self, there is no wire connected to the head lights or the dash dimmer switch.
Summary: I own the Sony model just beneath this MEX-BT260 Sony model and I enjoy it's sound and features (iPod audio plug-in jack on the face is very convenient). The MEX-BT260 has even more features (hands free Bluetooth phone and mp3 audio) and it wasn't much more in cost.
Summary: This receiver has a very disappointing Bluetooth telephone connection. People on the other end of the line cannot understand the conversation clearly. It is not possible to have a reasonable conversation through this radio.
Summary: I've really enjoyed this stereo. It makes life very easy, jump in the car and the phone is connected to the stereo. I don't have to worry about recharging any batteries or connecting any wires to my phone.
Summary: this sony rocks easy install and great sound i needed a bluetooth setup for safe phone use and for connecting my bluetooth music player the radio lights up blue gives great visability for i am bond to only having one eye i would like to say thanks to the seller and those looking to buy this is the...
Summary: Replaced OEM headunit in a 1994 BMW 325i. Unit fit perfectly out of the box. When first installed, radio had sound but CD did not. Contacted SONY customer support website and found correct solution: switch AMP REM and ANT REM wires. Sound quality is excellent with factory speakers.
