Awesome product ! Great value for the money even though I prefer pioneer.

Summary: Excellent sound quality, but has small buttons. Instead of bass, and treble. High, Mid, and Low controls. Don't know if this is a sony thing but does the trick. Several sound pre-sets such as rock, and this and that. Plenty of wattage for after-market compenants. Would buy again. Low price, new or used. Mine was used, looked like new, and had excellent sound quality. Audiophiles heres your info... 4 channel out-put to componants front right, and left.
Excerpt: I purchased this almost four years ago for my car that is old and had no difficulties with it it was at the time even one of the more affordable models but it satisfied my budget and basic requirement of only playing CD's in the car. I still had the old cage from my previous CD player so it fitted very rapidly and powered on just excellent.
Excerpt: This is one of the better bits of kit you can buy for your car, easy to install, great sound quality and everything you will need while driving. The device has a CD player a slot for an auxiliary cable , a great selection of radio stations and a great on screen display. This is really the kind of buy you should make if you need a gadget you can depend on and wont fail you.
Excerpt: My factory standard fitted stereo was terrible, and being in the car for so long each day I needed to upgrade. I purely picked this product because of the reasonable price and I was not disappointed. For the standard and quality this really is good value for money. I fully expected to have to replace this after a year or so but so far it has been 100% reliable.
Excerpt: This is a very reasonably priced stereo that you can fit in your car. The fitting itself isn't too complicated - I'm a novice and it took me about an hour to do. (It comes with instructions, but if you've never fitted a car radio before you may want to read each instruction a few times, like I did, to make sure you understand what they're actually instructing you to do.) Once it's installed, the radio itself is very easy to use.
I would recommend this radio to everyone who does not need USB support.

Excerpt: I bought this radio last year as a substitute for my old radio, which offered no CD support. Both sound quality and functionality of this radio are excellent! On the front panel there are all the controls you need (e.g. equalizer, volume etc.). The removable front face is a great idea protecting your new radio from being stolen. Its display shows you the current radio station and if you are listening to an original CD, it shows the title of the song.
Excerpt: As I am not fortunate enough to own a new or even nearly new car I still need a CD player/radio for my old trusty banger. The one I had previously was a Sony but it was a really old one and the CD's kept sticking inside and it wasn't a very good sound. On a recent clear out of our garage I came across this one which belonged to my husband many years ago, and as it was a lot better than the one I currently had in the car my husband fitted it in for me.
Excerpt: In terms of Car audio there are a few names which spring to mind Sony, JBL & Alpine are a few personal favourites. The GT23 from Sony features 45W across 4 Outputs totaling 180w direct music power, this works well for splitting individual speakers across certain channels to get your in car system sounding just how you like it.
Excerpt: I purchased this CD player for my girlfriend a few years ago as a birthday present. She has a Nissan Micra which had no CD players, only a casette so a new CD player was the first thing that she wanted for her car. I researched this model for a while and compared it with many others and decided for the price, and the requirements, this was perfect.
Excerpt: About The Product The Sony CDX GT23 is a car CD player, the dimensions are 5 x 17.8 x 17.9 cm and it weighs 1.5kg. It is black with some red buttons. Unit will light up red when turned on (perfect for red cars). My Opinions & Experiences I bought this nearly four years ago for my old car and had no problems with it whatsoever, it was at the time even one of the cheaper models but it suited my budget and basic requirement of just playing CD's in the car.
