  • Summary: I've worked as a Radio Personality since 1979 so I know Radio from BOTH sides.......First of all let me say I like the sound and Audio features of this unit and the fact that it will play a data Disc BUT it will ONLY PLAY 99 CUTS OFF THE DATA CD YOU MAKE. That is BRAINLESS !

Don't buy this

H. Heffner, Amazon

  • Summary: I had this radio in my car for a little under a year. I finally went back to my factory installed radio yesterday. From the very beginning I noticed that the reception for all analog channels was worse with this radio than with the factory one.

Great sound, but where are the HD2 stations?

Rich "Rich", Amazon
22 April 2007
  • Summary: First, to clarify a prior comment: You can change the display settings so the front panel text can show the (a) album, artist and song title, or (b) station info, or (c) no info. The text will scroll when there are more characters than can fit. My big question is how do you tune to the HD2 stations?

Great sound, is HDRadio worth it?

  • Summary: If you want to save some money and really want HD Radio, buy this unit. The price is right. Otherwise buy a better unit. I installed this radio in my car replacing the failing factory unit. I wanted HD Radio so I could see the song titles and artists like a satellite radio.

Best value for music lovers - horrible AM

  • Summary: First of all, if you want to finally hear the brilliance of digital FM, this unit will deliver all the quality you want. I installed it into a Ford Ranger and installation was easy, even for a novice. The first CD stuck in the stiff disk feed, but it began working well after the third time.
