Summary: do not buy this unit or any Pioneer car unit. car audio service center says they see almost exclusively Pioneer units. EXTREMELY poor customer service. Pioneer is skating on their past reputation. faceplate components are garbage. nice looking... that's about it.

Summary: I've had this for a few months now. Previously I had the DEH-P7600MP. Better than the P7600: * USB * Ability to show 2 or 3 lines of track information at once * List view of all folders Worse than the P7600: * Joystick control * Navigation through directories * No pause button * Doesn't fit into the...
Summary: My wife and I decided to get each other car stereos for the holidays. Our requirements for both of them were: 1. front USB port 2. iPod AND iPhone compatible, without requiring you to disable the radios in the iPhone (and requiring no "special" cable purchased separately) 3.
Summary: Ok, so it's not perfect. I wish it had a button for pause and mute on the actual unit but there is a button for those things on the remote so it's not that big of a deal. Sometimes on the freeway or a bumpy road it can be tricky to use the multi-function wheel and not accidentally select something...
Summary: This is my third Pioneer car stereo that I have owned. My last Pioneer stereo lasted seven years although the only problem seems to be the face unit that does not work. Anyway, this is a great stereo as expected from Pioneer.
Summary: RE: Pioneer DEHP5100UB Car Stereo Receiver The Pioneer DEHP5100UB Car Stereo Receiver is an amazing unit. The standard features such as 6 RCA outputs, numerous sound adjustments, two USB ports, aux input, and multiple format disc player make this an excellent base to the high end car audio system.
Great sound & a million settings to tailor...if you can find them.

Summary: For bang for the buck this is a great buy. The sound is nice and clean, tons of inputs, and it's very flexible to suit your sound tastes or it's application. I put this in before taking a 7K mile road trip across the Mid-west so I had plenty of time to play with it and mess with it.
