Summary: I purchased this Kenwood head unit and has worked great with no issues. My speakers sound good, it is easy to use and looks just as good. I like the fact that this is not like most marine radio's that are ugly and white. This Kenwood is marine and looks just as nice as automotive applications.
Summary: Do not buy the factory refurbished radio from Hooked on Tronics! I bought the kmr 330 from Hooked on Tronics in February and installed it in my boat as soon as I received it. It worked after installation, but in June when I got the boat out of storage the screen would say protect mode.
Summary: I installed this in in my brother's 2000 Crestliner 1850 Sport Fish. Why some of you wanted a marine radio for your car seems odd, but OK.. Works and sounds OK. My main concern, although not an issue as of yet, is the "joystick" type multi-function volume knob.
Summary: I haven't been able to install this because it doesn't fit in my car. Amazon said it would fit but not only does it need a special chassis to be compatable with my 2006 optima, it needs an adaptor for the power wires as well. 1 star because it was advertised to fit.
Summary: I am not brave enough to test the water proof part but as radio's go this one sounds good. The controls take some getting used to thou. Installation manual is written in such a small font I almost was not able to do the install.
Summary: This product is supposed to be for marine use and the minute that a little water hit it it stopped working. It was great while it lasted but don't let it get wet. ******Update****** Well I just found out that these recivers are not supposed to get soaked. so I take back my earlier review.
