Summary: I bought this unit to replace my failing stock head unit in my 96 Accord. Initially I was very pleased with it and the sound quality is everything that I, as a non-audio-nerd, was looking for (better than my stock unit even still using stock speakers).
Summary: I put it in my son's car over a year ago and he hasn't torn it up and it still works and sounds great. He takes the faceplate off twice a day (minimum) and the connections are still good too. I've always loved Kenwood.
Summary: I'm using the term budget loosely. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg. has a decent amount of watts, user adjustable bass/treble, high pass, low bass, sub on/off, sub low pass filter, sub level.. all kinda settings to tweak it to your liking. Just wish I would have bought it earlier.
Summary: So first I must say I was lured in by the price and the specs of the unit, and I will admit that the performance is there BUT some key remote cable power lines were non functional and I was ready to send this unit back and get really pissed off.
Summary: At first i thought it was a great purchase. I did elect to buy a new one but i think i was sent a refurbished one because every now and then it just starts doing its own thing by switching modes from tuner to ipod to aux and im not even touching any thing.Seemsto only happen on hot days and or bumpy...
