Summary: I ordered this Kenwood deck mainly because of the price. Was looking for a decent single din deck player for my truck with out breaking my wallet. BINGO, has the built in equalizer with bass, treble and subwoofer adjustments. HD radio and USB input for MP3 or iPod. I recomend it to someone who is needed a good stereo deck, but doesn't need the best. Hard for me to control at first, once I spent a hour or two with it, I had it down.
Summary: This head unit has lots of features and is very customizable. You can set crossover frequencies for the front and rear speakers, set the equalizer, set crossover and levels for the subwoofer, do lots of stuff that other stereos can't do. It controls iPod and iPhone well. But it's a royal pain to use every day! I'm very tech savy, and I like to learn to use the complicated features of devices, but this thing is too much.
Summary: this radio works just fine ! before i purchased it i read the reviews and i thought to my self i dont think its a good idea to buy but than i realized that theres just so many people out there that are bitter and find anything to b**** about... so i bought it anyways and now im glad i did, because i see nothing wrong with it !!
Summary: Bad head unit. The screen started resetting intermittently after 5 months, would still play music but the faceplate would reset and not respond for about a minute. Very annoying. I will be going back to pioneer.
Summary: I really wish i would have gotten another head unit. The controls on this must have been designed by a 2 year old. You can not see the screen in the sunlight. It takes forever and a day to read my ipod which isn't that full of data. I highly recommend something different.
Summary: Not much to say but I love this unit. I like the color changing. The fact that I can hide the usb port and the bluetooth is a very big pluse, becaus i have a stick shift. I can see whos's calling with out looking for the phone. I can play my music as loud as I want and still don't miss a single call(unless i don't want to answer). Kenwood hit this one out or the ball park with this one to me.
Summary: After 6 months of ownership the knobs started going out, only working sporadically. After 8 months, the faceplate started blacking out then coming back on. The radio sometimes does a reset in the middle of listening to music. I've owned many pioneers before this without a problem. Maybe i'm picky but i think a name brand like kenwood should last longer. Aside from that the menu and interface is quite terrible. Back to pioneer for me.
Summary: love, love, love, this receiver. use it everyday for a year and a half; an hour to work and an hour back. 4 stars because of one quark, if you look at the picture at the top of the page, you will see a button with a magnifying glass on it, this is the search button. with out getting in to a bunch of detail, the way i use the stereo i wish that search button accessible from the remote but it is not.
