Summary: This head unit has lots of features and is very customizable. You can set crossover frequencies for the front and rear speakers, set the equalizer, set crossover and levels for the subwoofer, do lots of stuff that other stereos can't do. It controls iPod and iPhone well.
Summary: this radio works just fine ! before i purchased it i read the reviews and i thought to my self i dont think its a good idea to buy but than i realized that theres just so many people out there that are bitter and find anything to b**** about...
Summary: I really wish i would have gotten another head unit. The controls on this must have been designed by a 2 year old. You can not see the screen in the sunlight. It takes forever and a day to read my ipod which isn't that full of data. I highly recommend something different.
Summary: After 6 months of ownership the knobs started going out, only working sporadically. After 8 months, the faceplate started blacking out then coming back on. The radio sometimes does a reset in the middle of listening to music. I've owned many pioneers before this without a problem.
Summary: love, love, love, this receiver. use it everyday for a year and a half; an hour to work and an hour back. 4 stars because of one quark, if you look at the picture at the top of the page, you will see a button with a magnifying glass on it, this is the search button.
Summary: I love this receiver most of the time. I recently took this receiver out of my car and replaced it with a 6-8 year old Eclipse I had because I planned on selling the car. Well, the car selling never happened, so I put the Kenwood back in and . . . I miss the Eclipse for a couple of reasons.
Summary: This is an awesome radio, especially for the price (i bought it as a refurb)....now, a fair number of reviews claim this is a complex or hard to work radio. First of all, it is loaded with features. second of all, these are probably the same people who can't work computers.
Summary: I bought this unit to replace the stock tape deck in my 1991 BMW. Like previous Kenwood decks I have owned, the sound output and the radio reception are great. The hard part is getting it to read my MP3 collection, which is 28 GB that I do not intend to re-rip for each new player I buy.
Summary: This unit features parametric EQ, Sub output, high pass crossovers, sub crossovers + sub level control, as well as a built in HD Radio tuner. All for right around $200. In fact, after I bought this unit, it was stolen from my vehicle, and I replaced it with the exact same model.
Summary: I bought this unit for the HD-Radio, the HD Radio tagging, and the ipod control. HD-Radio: It works 'alrite' takes about 5 seconds to establish the signal, then will cut in and out at least 2 times per song. I guess it sounds better than normal radio, but I cant tell the difference.
