Summary: I've had this for a few years now and it is wonderful. I live about 60 miles from better stations and without the HD, I couldn't pick them up. I can pick up my stations when I'm pretty far away too. The digital part kinda bites when you're far away because it repeats itself even if you're in the same spot but I guess it would either be that or fuzz so I'll go with the repeat. The USB comes in VERY handy and it will charge the player too. Best buy for the money.
Summary: Great radio -- but sometimes, it gets "stuck" thinking it's doing something. the only solution is to pull the power from it; which resets teh entire radio (including pre-sets) I would probably buy this again; but dash mount a 'on/off' button to make it easier to reset. NOTE: it does not control a JVC CD changer; but you can use it with their bluetooth antenna.
Summary: This is a decent little radio that does what it is supposed to. It is a low cost CD player and HD receiver with both a USB input and a 3.5mm input on the face. Sound is fine and the EQ features are exactly what you'd expect of a lower-end of the price spectrum car stereo. The only legitimate gripes about the unit itself are that the menus are a bit cumbersome to navigate and the clock keeps horrible time gaining minutes each week.
Summary: I got one of these last year and liked it so much that when it failed I got another. The reason I marked it down a star was primarily because it failed after less than two years of use (though it was on all day, every day). The sound quality is great, and unlike some radios, the pre-defined equalization curves are actually useful.
Summary: This radio is great for the money. It has so many great features. I put it in my boat and the wireless remote lets me change the song and turn the volume up and down while standing in the water.
Summary: The radio is quite light and the frame it came with is suitable even for 'on face' mounting. The harness was pretty easy to set up, but then I was fixing it into a Japanese car and they are pretty standardized these days. Took about 40 mins from start to finish. The bezel fits tight and is pretty slim so it does not to be shaved to fit in the dash (nice change!) The sound is really good, clear and crisp with a tight bass.
Summary: After researching several similar receivers this one stood out based on price and overall functionality. Upon receiving the product the install was simple (1st receiver I've installed) and directions were enough to direct a rookie. Pros: easy install Seamless iPhone connection Advanced preferences for audio levels Cons: shuffling songs/artists/playlists on menu can be sensitive Too many options for lighting
