Summary: This DAB Radio is not the suprime quality you would expect from JVC. I have purchased JVC hifi products for as long as i can remember the radio has got a very long winded way of operation you would expect to be able to lock a station with the touch of a button but not in this case.
Summary: So far so good - its still working after a week my concern is more over digital signal it's going to take over from analog but at the moment it's a bit hit and miss. Is change always a good thing?
Summary: The stick on aerial that comes with this was not good enough for a decent signal that doesn't cut out. However having spent £40 quid on a boosted DAB & FM replacement aerial the reception is much improved. I would recommend you budget in a real aerial if you are thinking of buying this.
Summary: I was really hoping this was my perfect radio for the car. It's close, but it's not perfect unfortunately. The DAB reception is great, works very well for me, using the stickon windscreen aerial. Watch out, many specs say this has Bluetooth.
Summary: Jvc have done it again with this easy to use fantastic reception DAB unit with usb socket for all your music files on a memory stick.Very good sound and build quality indeed as we have installed about 23 of these units to date date now and had very good feedback from our customers about them.Thank...
Excerpt: The JVC KD-DB42 DAB car radio unit is very neat. Design : 8/10 Finished in Satin black, with muti colour illumination allowing the user to match the colour of their dashboard lights. or even pick a random colour. The volume knob is quite large and feels very smooth to touch.
Pros: So many connections and options, very neat, easy fit, price .
