Faulty unit

Amazon Customer, Amazon
7 July 2014
  • Summary: I bought and returned my unit. It installed fine, but the DVD/CD would not accept discs and, buying from amazon, I could not get anyone from Clarion that would give support over the phone.

Worst ever - Clarion NX-702

P. Coombs "Potpie", Amazon
7 July 2014
  • Summary: Worst piece of crap I ever bought! This turkey is the 2nd one within six months and now this one is crappin' the bed too. The user interface is awful and the unit doesn't have enough memory to do two things at once, such as GPS and or load an SD music card.

  • Summary: I got the Clarion unit in the mail and it looked great. Hooked it up and everything ran smooth. But the on board i pod is horrible. Can't select the music you want to play with ease. Can't see the playlist on the ipod. Bluetooth is ok. The other person can't hear me that well.

Disappointing

D. Nannini, Amazon
27 October 2013

Good for the money

S. Nath, Amazon
26 October 2013
  • Summary: The system is well worth the money. We got it at a discount for $650. For a brand name unit with NAV, HD radio, BT, etc. thats a decent price. The NAV could be better and so could the voice recognition. But overall, Im happy with the unit.

Awesome Head Unit

KeithB, Amazon
26 October 2013
  • Summary: Installed this into my Jeep Wrangler and it needed a little customation, but fit well. Unit is awesome, responds fast, and overall an awesome product. Takes a small amount of understanding the unit and at times it is very touchy, but all touchscreens can be that way.

So Far - So Good

rc, Amazon
25 October 2013
  • Summary: This is the first advanced system I've attempted to install into any car. This car is a base model 2006 Honda Ridgeline. The installation was slow going, due to my insecurity in getting the wiring connected properly, then I had to wait for a proper fit kit to house the unit flush to the dashboard.
