Summary: Replaced older model with this new model. This one adds Bluetooth and 5 volts Preout. I really liked the 5V preout, much cleaner signal to the amps. Subwoofer control is buried in menus, takes too long to get to adjustment.
Pros: 5v preout. Pretty easy to use. Clean sound. Great deal for this price range.
Cons: Menus take a bit to get through to adjust subwoofer level.
Summary: What a peace of crap! Never worked right, not even once. Blue tooth takes multiple trys to link to every time i got in my truck. cd, for 1 reason or another, will not pick up unless u eject the cd and put it back in.
Summary: Getting SiriusXM in the unit for this price is nuts. That was the closer for me. In my Dakota, I didn't need much power and this unit worked out great. Always liked Clarion as a good brand product without the big time price. Happy I installed it and happier with Crutchfield's instruction sheets.
Pros: Great price, great instructions, great delivery time.
Summary: Overall a great stereo for the money. I needed 3 sets of pre-outs due to keeping my Bose system and then to have the ability to add my own sub and this unit has it. Bluetooth works great for my iPhone and streams music with no issues. USB port with a decently long cable.
Pros: 3 sets of pre-outs, USB port, Bluetooth.
Cons: Hate the built in EQ...would rather just have treble and bass adjustments.
Summary: I have nothing but good things to say about this head unit. While learning the functions is not a quick process, they all work the way they should. The sound is quality, and the features for the money are second to none.
