Good unit for moderate audio needs

Leo, Crutchfield
13 May 2014
  • Summary: I love this unit especially after having to return a Boss unit that sounded like crap. This Clarion us built nicely, sounds very good, and looks pretty cool. The Bluetooth connection links super quickly.
  • Pros: Good sound quality, doesn't have a "cheap feel" (bitin clicks, etc), remote
  • Cons: Slow to play CD tracks when first going to that function or after inserting a CD

Couldn't be happier!

Tom, Crutchfield
12 May 2014
  • Summary: Chose the unit 80% on price and 20% on name, been a Kenwood guy forever. With that being said I'm not dissapointed in my decision in the least! Fit and finish on the Clarion seems to be spot on, buttons and volume knob have a solid feel, not what I was expecting in this price range.
  • Pros: Looks great Ton of features for not a ton of money Lots of options for really fine tuning the bass, mids and highs Easy set up and straight forward to operate once there
  • Cons: None to speak of yet

  • Summary: First purchase from Crutchfield, and I doubt I will ever purchase from anywhere else. Very pleased with the clarion CD player. Easy to install in my 06 F-150. Great upgrade from stock.
  • Pros: Crutchfield customer service and just about Everything about the CD player
  • Cons: I would hardly call it a con but has a few more features than I need

Great Receiver

Anonymous, Crutchfield
3 May 2014
  • Summary: Awesome stereo, I have really enjoyed this great upgrade to my stock system. The advanced functions with a small price tag was very nice
  • Pros: Great bluetooth connectivity with my windows phone. Sound quality with my stock speakers was great and the ipod controls are easy to use
  • Cons: Only reason I did not rate 5 stars was my am and fm range seemed to go down. I love listening to my sports talk in the am and the stations I listen to are not nearly as clear as they were with my stock stereo

Gret Radio

Charlie, Crutchfield
24 April 2014
  • Summary: I reviewed a number of different radios before making my final decision. I am familiar with the Clarion name, and this did have a factor in my choice. I bought this primarily for the Bluetooth function. Just love the "hands free" speaker phone, with auto answer, and voice dial features.
  • Pros: Great radio for the price. Way more functions and options that I'll ever use.
  • Cons: Too many options. Will take a dummy like me to learn all the functions available some time.

Great receiver

kobelco, Crutchfield
21 April 2014
  • Summary: I researched quite a bit before buying the Clarion CZ302 for my 2007 Honda Accord LX. These were my requirements: CD(MP3), USB, Bluetooth All requirements were met, and the sound from the stock car speakers is SO much better, using this receiver.
  • Pros: - Small - USB - Bluetooth - Awesome sound from the stock speakers
  • Cons: - Small - The ambient blue light cannot be dimmed (I think, not yet looked at the manual) - Non of the cons should be any where close to a deal-breaker!
